Very much like the newer one, never was a fan of the old. Still not a huge fan of the front headlights on the F12, but need to see it in person.
Yes the weight increase is disappointing, but the power/weight ratio is a bit better plus consumption is way down.

Day and night difference. The old one is ugly.

The new ones brilliantly capture the spirit of the original. And still be able to evolve into the new BMW styling. I think once again, BMW did a great join in refreshing the 6er.

The best is now better....
Never thought I'd prefer another 6er to the E63, but I really cannot get enough of the F12. Not crazy about the steering wheel design, but that's too minor to put me off. I love how it's agressive, yet still quite beautiful. This is close to DB9 brilliance. Great job guys.

To me the old E60 series has the better engine and I don't mind the styling at all. If I was in the market for a new vehicle I would be chasing the best run-out deal I could get on one before they are all gone.
Sure, I am keen to see the new model in the showroom like everyone else. Turbo engines do not impress me, even if more powerful. BMW could have raised the capacity of the S65 to keep development moving forward and still be way ahead of the competition for many years to come. There are other performance car manufacturers that have not given into forced induction in the name of fuel economy and horsepower.

The old M6 looks like a ugly duckling compared to this new one.
Never a fan of the old 6. I tried to like it (huge bmw fanatic) but it simply doesn't look like any other bmw ever made (bad thing imo) This new one is beautiful Alan

The front end of the new is way more aggressive than the old.... Yet,
The rear of the old is more aggressive than the new... IMO. All bimmers are getting bigger and heavier :/ Regardless, it's a beautiful new ///M!

Looks are ofcourse subjective, and unfortunately in my eyes this new car does not look engaging, and Im completely unimpressed with the direction its taken in this model as its move even further from its roots in the e24 to now a car thats so big and unrecongnizable. So in reality, while many on this thread comment how much they love the looks, Im not sure if any of those that have commented are actually in the market for this type of car, but I am actually in the market right now and had been awaiting this redesign to make a decision on what comes next, and unfortunately for bmw and m, it will not be an M5 nor an M6, so bmw has lost my real sale, but have not picked up your imaginary one, and that is not a good business proposition for them.

Unless you plan on tracking the car, why does this matter? Some people have mentioned that it is heavier but MOST of these people have probably never done a track day... And some of those will probably never see one with this car (even if they do get one)..
It also has more hp than the previous Gen. M6 so, it's carrying the added weight with the added hp... Also, with the tuning that was done on the M5 recently, 620hp isn't too far off, at minimal $$$

I for one am also in the market, and I have been waiting to see the F12 M6 and I have fallen in love. Look at my signature, I used to own a 2008 M6 just like you. But I NEVER loved the look, I loved the power and the sound and I obviously liked the car in order to buy it. But I dont think there is a comparision between the looks here, but thats all personal preference anyways!
