Exclamation CPO Warranty About To End Any Advice?

Greetings,

My 2012 F13 BMW 650i Xi’s CPO is about to end, is there anything I should get my dealership to check before the warranty expires?

Thanks in advance.

The cost of an extended warranty or third party warranty.

Sorry I wasn't clear in my original post.

My EXTENDED CPO warranty is about to end.

I want to know if there's any particular item that I should get my dealership to check before my extended warranty expires.

You were clear. I was suggesting that you think about extending your warranty. There are several posts about the N63 having issues (ie. injectors). My warranty is going to end in the spring, I will be extending it.

Case in point. I had a camera throw a fault code. BMW quoted me $1400 for a replacement cable and 9 hours of labor.

Others may have another suggestion but I'd think about another warranty if you are planning to keep it long term.

An extended warrantee is essentially pre-paying for future repairs vs. pay-as-you. Compare expected future repair costs & chance of them happening vs. cost of warrantee, and see if you can live with the gamble.

EDIT: To answer your original question, if you're really concerned, perhaps pay a 3rd party shop to do a PPI inspection, as if you were looking to buy your car.
