Raced against a GT-R this evening

Out here in Mexico City/ you don't really come across these level of vehicles unless you're on a specific street (France & polanco- where lambos/bentleys etc are common since a lot of the "head honchos" live there) so while I was on the 85, I was really surprised to find a GT-R tailgating me until I moved over and he caught up.

Little did this loser know, on a rolling start- he had no shot.

We started at 30 mph- I was still on second gear. Off we went, and boy did my Nikki (yes I named my car lol) sound ANGRY- I hadn't even hit 6th gear when my girlfriend says"I thought they were supposed to be fast?? So not only are they ugly, but slow too"

I easily had a cars length on it.


I love waking up to this beast, but after what happened tonight and my first race against a GTR- I must say, I love her a little more.

(Btw this was at midnight our time, so the highway was empty and not endangering any other drivers)

That is a really interesting to tidbit to learn about a GTR. Is your car stock?

Ah, to be young and foolish. These days I mostly just use mine to minimize the time I am on the road getting from A to B. But I'm not so old I have forgotten a couple of 'foolish romps' of my own in my younger days. Brings back some fond memories. Good to hear you took him and especially that you took as many precautions as you did to make it safe as possible. Be careful. Don't do anything I wouldn't do.

Haha trust me- I've had to pass up owning many lower performance vehicles trying to race me (mustangs, camaros, even the older m3s) not because I wanted to- but - a. It's usually at a time of day when there's a lot of traffic and I respect others on the road, as much as I respect my car and b. Itd quite frankly be a waste of gas money (and it's much more expensive out here than in the States).

My car is stock with the competition package and its a 6 speed mt. Only exception is my exhaust which I have a manhart dual exhaust system. Nothing in the engine is touched. I did tell my girl "we're going to find out if they're car is stock or not" because I'm aware that a GTR, at least I would- modify it immediately.

I'm guessing it was not

M6 is a monster

There is a PPP M6 somewhere in Russia and the guy has bunch of rolling race on youtube. It's really amazing how this car walk a way any car...

I had no idea with the tune we could walk with this.

I did a 4th gear roll with my friend is his 2015 GT3 today. We started at about 80. It was pretty even till about 130 mph and then I walked away nicely. Its an absolute monster up top!!!

My M6 was stock when I did some roll races vs GTR.

I posted up here somewhere. I walked him every time. I'm sure there are many GTRs out there faster than a M6, but it's good to know that the M6 is not to be trifled with

It would be an interesting race against a GTR from launch because they have AWD and the M6 is a tire roasting show from launch.

I rolling started a 2014 GTR (around 40mph) and pulled from him as well. I believe I was in 3rd gear on this one.
