Belstir+ or Escort 9500 CI receiver location

For those that have wired up their own radar, where did you mount the receiver horn - in the bumper or ..... In one of the air intake grates? Cutout of course. Also, is there a recommended port to get through firewall. I did my own install on my '13 M5 and if the firewall is the same, it shouldn't be an issue. And lastly, which fuse # is the home link that I should tap into?

Ok, I'm on my own I guess. When I get it done...needs to warm up first, I will post some pics.

Run a search in the 6 forum under "best radar/ laser detectors". I started this thread in December. I believe it has the info you are looking for. I hope this helps

Thanks. I'll check it out. While it's getting warmer out, still haven't dug into this yet....
