Snow tires and 373s

New to the forum, been reading for a while... Thinking about winter tire / wheel options... Id rather go with just snow tires if possible. Has anyone had snow tires on 20" 373s??? If so, what tire and how did it perform for you???

the 373s suck as a snow set, as they are different widths in the front and back, and there are no good staggered sets of snow tires that fit them. Assuming your car has x drive, the tires on the front and rear need to be the same diameter to prevent damage to the transmission. You are much better off with a square set - meaning the same size wheel and tire at all 4 corners.

So... its complicated... I'll need 4 identical wheels that fit over the brakes on a 650i Xdrive. It seems that many of the sets of wheels I see for sale are staggered sets. I like the look of the 403Ms , but they're all staggered. Any suggestions???

Another option is the 650 19" msport wheels. They obviously fit over the brakes and are a square set. Give you a little more sidewall over winter potholes too.

I simply change the tires on my 20´373.I have Michelin..When you go with 19´M Sport, the width is the same 245 front and 275 rear..the winter OEM for GC 18´are ugly imho..

My goal has always been to get winter tires to fit the 373s. Which Michelins did you get and what sizes front and rear? This will help me a lot!

Not the 19" staggered 373's. The 19" square set. I agree the winter set is not a good look. None of the BMW winter sets are, but the standard 19" square set that comes on the 650 is a good looking wheel.

245/35/20 and 275/30/20 right? Go search that size on tire rack and see what you can find. Let me save you the work - I just did it. Zero, zilch, nada. Not a single set of snow tires in those sizes.

Hence my original point.

Over here I've used Vredstein Wintracs on my 373M and they seem to work fine (not that it was that wintry last year). Actually being non-RF made an improvement in road noise and coping with pot holes.
