Geneva 2013: BMW M6 Gran Coupe and Convertible on Display. No Sign of F80 M3

COMMENTS

In terms of M cars at the 2013 Geneva show, BMW has brought out two M6 models - a Frozen Silverstone M6 Gran Coupe and a San Marino Blue M6 Convertible.

Unfortunately, there has been no sign of the F80 M3 concept, which many speculated may be making its debut here at the show. We've reported in the past that we believe (and still do) that the F80 M3 concept will instead bow in September at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

The 560 hp M6 Gran Coupe was revealed 3 months ago [official thread] and has been priced in the US starting at $113,000 [official pricing info].

Great job BMW. On the most important auto show of the year you chose to show the already released M6 Gran Coupe and the embarrassing 3GT.

Keep up the good work...

The M3 is launching in Shanghai , again like the M5 Concept . M sales in China are in double-digit growth , following a preview in Germany the car will be revealed in Shanghai in late April.

Bimmerpost can sleep on the floor of my hotel room.

The 6 series family is, IMO, the most beautiful of the BMWs right now. I just can't stop looking at it.

China again?

And how long for German car companies until ALL production, design and fiscal decisions are solely decided on by Beijing?

China man strikes again! Haha.

Financial growth is the most important thing to a corporate entity such as BMW.

That M6GC is just stunning and in Frozen Silverstone nonetheless. My favorite frozen color on my next car. Only thing I will do differently is the color of the interior. I hate that I have such car envy for this thing. I got my M5 just a few months ago and I love it. Until I see one of these things on the road.

Looks like they modified the existing M6 wheels so they don't protrude. I guess more GCs going through the wash?

Until their speculative residential construction bubble bursts and their economy collapses. Not a matter of if but when.
