In Comfort+ dampers go softer. Car gets a bit floaty. Great for really rough roads.

Thanks! Wondered what was meant by "maximum driving stability".

I'd agree. Just trying to figure out all the features on my new ride.

Like driving a LaZboy. I find the rev matching on my manual is overly aggressive, which is particularly annoying when coasting over speed bumps. It also makes taking your foot off the accelerator more like doing that in an automatic, sort of coasting rather than compression braking. Of course, it's like that in regular Comfort mode, too.

I drive in Sport+ at all times, almost entirely for the sharper throttle mapping. I always feel like I'm towing a boat or something when in Comfort mode, it takes so much pedal to give it any gas.

That's the way the Eco settings feel to me.

I'm with you man!! I can't drive the car in anything other than Sport+ since the day i got the car. To try and save gas I went into settings and changed sport mode to only changing the suspension and not the throttle, that lasted a whopping 2 days and I reverted back to default. I did not get a 650 to drive it like a Prius, so I just on Eco or comfort modes!! Haha

There is one more thing..i just put my new winter setup..20 inches michelin pilot alpin sport 4 NON RFT...my summer setup is factory Dunlop RFT..
Well driving in comfort + mode with non rft is really floaty, but its perfect for sport and sport+!

So,only reason why you got comfort+ is when you got rft tire and you dont like hard ride.

I love sport - except for the fact that the trans holds the gears way to long - even when not driving hard. Without that I would drive in sport all the time - especially since I now have conventional tires. As noted above, Comfort Plus is really soft with non RFTs.

I do believe that if you have Adaptive Drive you do not have Comfort Plus (and damn, I wish I had Adaptive Drive - this 4,600 beast is a bouncy rocket ship and really should have Adaptive Drive standard.

You can drive with sport suspension and not drivetrain. Just set Sport up that way in iDrive, just like downfourit suggested above.

I have Adaptive Drive and agree it should be standard. It does still have both Comfort and Comfort+ drive mode options with ADS.

1. Learn something new every day - thank you
2. I like the sport trans because the car is much less doggy - almost feels peppy! But that holding of the gear..ugh..

So I drove an hour in comfort and an hour in comfort+. I didn't notice a difference. Is there something wrong with my car? I notice a difference between comfort and sport.

I suppose there could be, but I think you would get some sort of malfunction notice. You do need a rough road to feel the difference.

Are you in the UK or US? IF you're in the UK as per your profile have you got any of the adaptive suspension options? Unlike the US they are not standard in the UK. If you do have adaptive suspension, go into the settings of each mode and make sure it hasn't been altered. You can specify what changes between each mode, so it could be that suspension has been set to not change between C and C+.
