A lot of this is probably rumor based upon what happened last time... 6-series disappeared when 8-series was introduced. Then 8-series disappeared. Then 6-reappeared... now with rumors of 8-series coming back, people are jumping to the conclusion that history will repeat itself. I don't see BMW dropping the 6-series unless the 8-series is not remarkably different and cannibalizes sales. I'll say this, though - I'd love a modern day 8-series with a naturally aspirated V12. Guess I'll need to keep dreaming, though, since those days are long gone. I do think about picking up an 850CSi from time to time.

This really is the site to go to http://www.e31.net/

Mine is one of 3 in Daytona Violet and the only one with white and black seats. I also have a 3 spoke steering wheel, not the awful 4 spoke bus wheel that so many E31s had.

I've seen this, too. It would make no sense to have a 6 GT as well as a 6 GC. I think the 6 (coupe, convert) will slim down a bit and become sportier. The GC will be a very nice 8.
