Why 1,486 miles? Currently at 830 miles, running in service at 1,200, then gradually increase revs up to 3,100 miles.

Sorry! In one Pic (delivery) it's got 14 on it and yes you are right it's 1,200 miles anyway. I just happened to run over to 1,500 before my first service. Ignore me - long long week. Need a drive home the country route way tonight!

OK, I'll let you off!
I did the best part of 800 miles in two days at the start of the week, I feel like I'm just starting to get to know her. |

Impromptu snap taken at dusk after a quick wash, winter wheels and tyres fitted, it's starting to get cold!

Interested to know exactly what they've changed for April build.
Mixed thoughts on the competition pack. Overall I think it's an improvement, but with some provisos. - The quicker rack is worth having and very difficult to retrofit. - The stiffer suspension on Sport+ is probably worth having on a track. - Not driven the car hard enough to know about the anti roll bar, probably worth having on the track. - The exhaust is a bit louder, but it does have a little drone, just getting stock and the Akrapovick (or M-Performance) will be better if that's all you want. - Lowering by 10mm is not really noticeable. - Do NOT get the 601M wheels, they are cast and heavy. I was miss informed by BMW about their production method and am requesting that they swap them for 343M which are forged. Total weight difference between a set of 343Ms and 601Ms is 24lb. Mind you, 433M are even heavier! |

There are slightly different offsets for front and rear, so you need 2 fronts 36 11 2 304 703 and 2 rears 36 11 2 304 710.

Oh, if you don't have the CC brakes you can get the 408M which are 19 inch and a bit cheaper, similar, but not quite the same design.

I ordered one of the limited edition m6's for the Canadian market. It comes with the CC brakes. I ordered it in September, still not here. Apparently it's sitting at the port waiting for exhaust tips.
