Aftermarket brake pads that give off less dust.
So I was spoiled previously because I had carbon ceramics on my M3. ZERO brake dust was the best! I rather not spend 12k on buying ceramic brakes so I'm seeing if anyone has come across aftermarket pads that give off less dust then the factory ones.
Thank you |

The ones I've been recommended, but haven't tried yet are Pagid Ceramic Brake pads. Reportedly has less squeaking issues.
only front pads are available https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-1...FcOBfgodieYE-w |

I have tried Pagid RS29 on M6 brakes retrofitted into F06 650. It has moderate brake dust, grip much better than stock oem pads. But a little noisy.
If you are interested, I had it for 2 weeks and sold the car. Going to post it sometime next week in classified section.

I need to find the work order from when the dealer changed mine out so I can share the part numbers. I had really bad squealing initially , once I pressure washed the rims/calipers it would go away for a day or so.
Dealer said they would swap out the pads ONE time (good will) for what ever pad they put in. SA said its was way more expensive of a part and had to get the OK from someone at BMWUSA so that they could do it. All I can say is its night and day different now, way less dust and ZERO squeal. While I do not track the car or use the breaks to their full potential I can not sense a difference in performance . |

Sometimes the reason of noise is not brake pad... it's the cracked rotors and there is a service bulletin that I posted long time ago here: http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1112127

If you didn't bed it properly, it will squeak terribly.
