Need 645ci bluetooth help??

Bought 2005 645ci with very low milage. Used to have 2007 335i coupe loaded. My question is when I had my 335i my phone contacts came right up on the navigation screen. At this point on the 645ci same phone just different car the bluetooth works fine but my phone contacts do not appear on the nav screen like they did on the 335i. Went to dealer and they were basically like Oh well?? Any suggestions out there??
