Not sure if anyone has been to Shell lately but this image is on all the gas pumps. I just thought I would share it because I got a kick out of it.

Too bad for you all. The Shell closest to me has 101 (unleaded, no alcohol).

Needless to say I am one happy camper.

I used to be up in Worcester and later Brockton and Waltham. I know what you mean. High octane is a dream up there. Not even sure where I'd go to get it.

Then again, out here where I am now (in gas and cattle country) we get all sorts of great food and cheaper gas but the tech car stuff is a big void. SO I am a bit on the envious side. Then again, there's that crazy one just north of me in Wichita. Can't wait to see how his car comes out.

could the ethanol be tripping the CEL for those catless and running Sell 91/V-power with ethanol in the current gen M5/M6 with the S63 powerplant?

my 2007 M6 with K&N cold air induction and Eissenamn sport cat back had CEL on if I ran any other fuel other than the Shell V-power and here in Victoria BC the V-power has no ethanol blended in it .. at least at the Shell closest to my home

Okay, so while we are on the topic (sorry to hijack). Is there an additive that I should use in my M6 that will help the cause? Octane booster or anything else?

I Read the fine print ... no ethanol in Shell V-Power in Victoria BC ... and I was in Kelowna, Vanocuver and Victoria this last week
