Question Is there a way to reboot or restart the iDrive system?

I vaguely recall a way to do this but a search turned up gibberish (but it could be just my bad search skills).

Anyone know?

Thanks.

Try pushing down the mute and eject buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.

The volume knob. Also known as the Entertainment on/off button.

On newer systems, hold in mute (radio on/off) button for 30 seconds.

You can do this anytime---even while driving.
