Engine cleaning additive?

I am not sure how you say this in English. But since the car has never been driven fast ever, the engine became "lazy". We call it lazy. My wife driving it isn't helping either. In Europe we would just drive it at 120 mph for 1-2 hours and the deposits would burn out. Not something I can do here in Florida.

So is there a fuel additive that the folks use here? I am sure BMW has one but I figured there must be better ones. It is a 2008 650 btw, but I am sure it is time to put some into my 2010 550 as well.

Thanks!
