Anti Roll Bar for M6

I read a thread in the M5 forum about adding the Dinan anti roll bars and KW and getting an amazing improvement. Does anyone know if it would be worth it on the competition M6? Does anyone know if the upgraded suspension includes stiffer anti roll bars and if this would even be an upgrade?

Yes... the competition package comes with stiffer sway bars. You are in good shape!

Nice, so not worth the upgrade?

I would highly recommend the upgrade, even with the comp package. This will be my next mod if I end up keeping the car.

Oh wow really? I wish I could try them out first lol. They should allow us to test out every mod for a week first.

I hear you on that one! I was skeptical at first. Then I drove a car with the Dinan sways. Wow, what a difference compared to my comp set-up. Knowing what I know now I would have gone with the sways before the KW HAS kit. I wasn't expecting to feel that much of a difference with only sways.

Hi.

They really are that good Denver? Does anyone know where you can get these in the U.K? I hav e the KW HAS on my 12 F13M and I think they are great but if the sway bars will make a difference it's an easy mod to try. Look forward to comments

Cheers

Brian

I have the F06 M6 Comp Package and these sway bars do make a huge difference.

Especially when doing high speed lane changes, the car feels so much better and more stable.

So these just replace the competition sways? Or they are in addition? Stupid question, but I just can't believe the Dinan sways make such a difference, even on an M6 competition edition?

It's a replacement. I didn't think it would be a huge difference either, but it turned out to be a very good investment.

Like with the competition package, when I was going fast down the highway and changing lanes here and there, the car would literally sway, but with these Dinan sway bars, the car just moves into the lane and stays. It's like you know how we do fast lane changes, we would turn the steering wheel to the lane direction quickly and then turning the steering wheel back quickly (so that we don't go off the new lane). This thing makes your car STAY when you turn your steering wheel back.

Since the sway bar worked so well, I ended up ordering all of the Dinan suspension related parts:

SKU: D160-0005
Dinan Negative Camber Control Arms for BMW M6

SKU: D280-0016
Tension Strut Ball Joint Kit for BMW F10 M5 F06 F12 F13 M6

SKU: D190-1011
Dinan High Performance Adjustable Coil-Over Suspension System for BMW F06 M6 GC

Will provide reviews once I have them installed.

I got all my Dinan stuff from IND.

Wow! Thanks for that. I may only do the sways as I can't spend that much! But does the $1200 sways come from front and rear, or is that just for front?

Front and Rear

I'd check with Dinan authorized dealers near you to see if they can offer some discount.

You can pick them up at turner for $850. I may get soon since the F12 chassis has a lot more roll since its a vert and doesn't have a fixed top.
