Exclamation HELP: problem at cold start

Hi everyone,

I recently had a problem with my car and i don't know what is wrong with my baby

At COLD start, after the initial engine crank the RPMs go above 1000 as usual but after that when it starts to come down the revs start going above 1000 and drops to about 500 and back up again. it continues to do that until the engine warms up after a minute or so.

I have tried to clean the air filters, Mass air, added fuel injector cleaner but it's not improving.

No fault codes either

M6 F06 GC, DPs, drop in filters, AKRA exhuast & ESS tune

PLEASE ADVISE

I got the same thing occasionally and had what sounds like the same setup with catless down pipes ... the racing idle occurred on cold starts and if I gave it some throttle it went away.

Since I went to dinan stage II it seems to have gone away

I am assuming it has to do with the change in back pressure with the dp and akra and the ECU working with that and the air/fuel mix ... my last M6 cab with the V10 and K&N cold air intakes and the eisenmann cat back did the same thing and it did not have a tune

I get in randomly on colder days. Warm or hot days never. I had it when my car was bone stock so I don't think it's an issue. It will definitely happen when I try to drive before cold start is over.
