Radar Detector Hardwire question

Does anyone know which wire is a good one to tap into for hardwiring a radar detector in the interior light box above the rearview mirror? I have an F13 with carbon fiber roof.

Yea, dont do the overhead light, instead tap into the wire thats on the mirror stalk.. its also a green colored wire.. you can see some other install mentions of this wire color.. then just tap into any screw for the ground.. took me a few min. installing this way will keep the radar detector on at all times when the car is running.. from what ive read, tapping into the over head light wire turns its off when the car is in eco auto stop/start mode at a light.. I did however remove the top light area to stuff all the radar detector wiring guts and used a screw in there for the ground.. also when removing the over head console, make sure u pop out the middle of it first which gives access to push clips inside of it which then allows the whole unit to pop down.. it does require a bit of wiggling and force..

I'm not sure if your using a V1, but I've had a very good experience with this Savvy:

It is super easy to wire, and you can have it auto-mute to a certain speed (if you live in the city for example). I have it in both of the cars at this point.

I was able to get it working last night. The 12v wire used was the green and brown wire in the harness going down the mirror stalk. The black and brown wire was used for ground from the overhead lighting secondary connector harness. Thanks everyone! I knew I could count on quick answers from M post.
