Auto PDC
Took my car in for service and they gave me a new X3 loaner. Noticed when you turned into parking spots, or got close to anything, the park distance sensors would turn on by themselves. Is that possible on our cars?

I agree as long as you can customize or disable the auto-on ability. My wife had a Mercedes that would indicate vehicles next to you at a stop light. It was just a light on the dash but very annoying IMO.

There is also a self-braking function called ACTIVE PDC, which to my best knowledge will automatically apply the brakes if you are about to hit something that the PDC sensors detect... I think the new X5 has it. I was able to get that to show on the menu as well, but of course it doesn't work either |
