I was coming out of a store and saw a San Marino Blue GC pull into a slot. However, the brain couldn't reconcile the M6 on the grill and the sunroof. Walked around the rear and it was a new 650i with an //M badge in place of the plate.

To each their own, but...damn

IMO, if I paid $5k to option the SMB paint on a 650i, I would frankly go all out and just get the M6.

I'm planning on debadging my m6. Strip the car of ANY ///M emblem!

...I kid of course- but as mentioned ^, if you're going to flaunt it and act like its something that it's not

Well maybe it is a 650i M-Sport package and M badge means M performance

Does AMG have this problem as well or is it unique to BMW?

AMG Package has the same AMG badge and I have seen MB cars with AMG badge. The AMG package also includes the rims with AMG logo

Truck forums, bike, Toyota, Honda, everyone likes emblems.

Im looking for a //M9 logo for mine.

this M badging thing is not as bad in the US and you won't see this in Europe
but in Asia and Latin America, I see this more often than not
