water drips down the sun visor

Hi, I have a problem with my 2012 6 series coupe.
If it’s raining a lot water drips down the sun visor. I can’t find any water drains on the roof. Can you help me?

If you have a sunroof, then you have sunroof drains. You can search the forum for that term. There are quite a few posts about cleaning them.

Sorry I couldn’t find a thread, can you send me the link. I do know how to clean them but I can’t find the holes…

I can try a search too. I have not paid much attention to those threads because I have a convertible, but I know the issue pretty common.

The one I found quickly was from May, and simply said to open the sunroof and use like a weed wacker cord. But it provided no specifics on the location. But if you Google "clean BMW sunroof drain" you get lots of hits, including lots of YouTube videos. I did not look long enough to see if any are specific to the 6, but I have to believe they are generally all made the same, at least in recent years.

Not sure on the 6 series, but on my X5, they are near the back of the sunroof cartridge. You will probably need to take the accordion things off of each side, which is not difficult. That should reveal the drains. Here is a YT link.
