Daytime Running Light

I bought my car here in Canada, it's 14 Gran Coupe 650xi

however for some reason i dont have DRL,

all the bulbs and lights are fine and should be mandatory in Canada, however it's off during the day, no option in the iDrive either.

anyone experienced this before?

They should definitely be working. They are required equipment I believe, but regardless they are standard equipment. Do you have the LED headlights?

there is a thread running on another BMW forum about drl's not working and maybe the headlight module failed rather than faulty lights themselves. Have you ran a diagnostics to see if any fault codes are shown.

Previous owner my have had them coded off.

so i took it to the dealership, it was in there for 2 days,
now they say they are getting new FRM from germany or some stuff for my car because they can't fix it. It will take another 5 days.... wth..

Under the settings/lighting you should have a option to put them on/off / option on mine 13 f13 xdrive msport- with hid and my drl-are angel ayes
