The speaker grills are cool - but seriously, $6K extra? What am I missing?
Floor mats
And I built the same car (M6GC) on-line and ended up to 140K !!!! however with new M6GC pricing published last week, it should be 137K since M6GC's base price reduced about 3K!
so 15K for Color M logo on headrest + B&O on cup holder + Floor mats

What a joke, it already has the sound system so why would there be a EDITION? How about focusing it on the M4 or something as a upgrade.

I agree it's a joke.... They cannot do this with M4 and mark it up to around 90K-100K since no one pay for that, but there are people who pay 150K for M6 since it's top of the line of BMW!!!! I know it's ridicules .
BMW introduced 30 years anniversary for M5 and priced it for 138K... you can find that car on ebay for 200K

"the finest High-End Sound"

LOL -- didn't we hear this for the E92 M3 Enhanced Premium Sound which turned out to be a bunch of sh**. The most disappointing 2k ever spent.

Now I do like the sound of this.. but in my experience Bang & Olufsen is another system that has a very clean but harsh sound, kind of like EPS in the M3. I imagine this should impress though.

Audi already uses B&O for their premium sound, and I wasn't impressed at all in my buddies S4.

I thought the B&O on the ash tray was photoshopped on the picture for marketing purposes. I cannot believe they are really putting this on the ash tray -- tacky.

Personal opinion... Nothing beats the carbon fiber interior. So badass.

The M stitching on headrest is pretty slick though.

Haha... me too
while ago they released "Horse Edition" for Chinese market with a Chinese letter logo on headrest. Now they have B&O edition with B&O on cup holder... I'm wondering the next time what edition they will release and which logo they put and where they put ... maybe track edition with track logo on dash or hood

The interior is gorgeous, shame bmw only reserves this level of quality on premium segment as oppose to their economical bread and butter

So the silver lettering on the ashtray is tacky but the colourfull ///M stitching on the headrest is not...???

I would say totally opposite. B&O lettering is quite discreet and placed in a not too conspicous location. ///M stitching on the other hand...

I can only guess that this system will be available in the 2015 models. Gotta be. If not, its a BS move.
What do you mean the sound system isn't available for other cars? It's available on every M6, not to mention 6 series, 7 series, and so forth. What's "limited" in this car is actually the ridiculous branding on the upholder cover and some minor interior details. The B&O Sound System and Competition Package (which gives you the additional power) is available on all M6s, not just these 100 units.
Yea i misread the article. I stand corrected

I think they could have integrated B&O a little classier -- maybe on the tweeter grills. Then again opinions are like assholes -- everyone has one.

The stitching might look better in a single color. I don't mind the extra branding on the car as long as it's //M related.

No thanks! I'd rather hear different type of music: engine and exhaust.
