Is it plasti dip?
I had a plasti dip on my black 750i, after I removed the dip, the car lost its gloss, and had to be polished.

Because plasti dip costs $800, takes 1 day to do, and easy to remove, when vinyl wrap costs $4-5k, takes a few days to do, and takes a few days to remove. Vinyl wrap is also a lot harder to do, you have to take off many parts, when with plasi tip, you just spray it.
