Got My car finally!

After a long wait (transport issues) my car showed up a few days ago, and I couldn't be happier with it. Amazing condition and the Sakhir on AW is stunning. I already swapped out the grills with the black ones and added the ram air scoops. Dinan piggy back and Gruppe M intake going in on the 26th. Exhaust shortly after that.

Thanks for infecting my mind with this, now I have another 3k I have to drop on top of the other 15k in mods I'll be doing to my F06. Go die will ya?


PS. Does anyone know how this person got the blacked out turbo housings?

Nice car bro love the 6 speed but after having many manual cars I just wanted something easy

To be honest I thought it was a bit much in the pics but now that I have it I LOVE it!

The turbos are on the top of the engine and are still the oem silver aluminum color in this picture. If by “turbo housing” you mean the air to water intercoolers rhat are in the front of the engine bay, they are not “blacked out” they have some sort of carbon fiber sleeve over them.

agreed. The intercooler has some type of vinyl carbon wrap on it. I'm surprised it doesn't get warped when it gets hot in there. That's a lot of work to do that too...if I was going through the trouble of wrapping my components, at least I'd use something that's useful...like heat wrap.

My bad. I guess because they were in-sight with the alternator I got confused

It looks great but I'm not so sure about the reliability of a potential sleeve in such a heated area.
