U.K. 640d GC newbie query

Hi. Looking to purchase a 1 year old car. Test drove one today and was amazed by the power and refinement. Will be trading in my 9 year old MB CLS diesel.

Quick question, noticed on the dealer demo car that the main display screen was a newer version and without the silver surround.

Could you please let me know when this update was made ?

I'm looking to purchase a facelift version with the three spoke steering and newer Electronic dash.

in the Uk it will be the late 2015 model aka the LCI ones with the updated dash surround and new shape standard LED Headlights!

Just focus on the headlights when looking for the car from 3rd quarter of 2015 and it will be the LCI one you are looking for!

Some dealers offering stonking deals on LCI pre reg cars with delivery miles.

One I'm looking at has Internet and connected services amongst its options...sorry but I'm sure this question has been asked before...any must have requests from from dealer to have activated before I collect the car ?

You can activate the connected drive side of things at anytime Its something I've not activate as yet.

On a side note I think the number of 640d's in and around North London/Herts boarders is slowly growing...... A bit too flash for a meet at ace cafe I feel ?
