Do the Rear Seats Have an Armrest with Cup holder?
Hi Guys,
I was playing around in my car and it looks to me theres a fold-down armrest in-between the two rear seats (which if it is, I'm assuming it can hold cups for the rear passengers). Anyways, I tried pulling it down and nothing budged. I tried a bit harder but stopped in the fear that I may break the plastic clip. Can anyone confirm what this is as my only other guess would be a medic kit. Also it would be very helpful if someone could please tell me how to open/pull it down? Thanks in Advance |

Yup, it has an armrest with cup holders. Just run your hand around the sides to help unstick the leather. It will come down. I had the same experience.

On my 640d Convertible in the UK it is not a drop down armrest but a storage compartment for the first aid kit.
Quite difficult to open----the trick is to push the top of the compartment back towards the rear of the car whilst pulling the plastic tag out. Should come out easily then. |
