Coded my M6 GC - Here's the list

Had my M6 GC coded and thought I would share the list of what I had done, in case you guys are interested in doing the same. It's a pretty long list, but many of the features make a big difference. There were additional options to have done, but I didn't want those. This is what I DID choose:
  • Close mirrors + windows + sunroof through Comfort Access - closing works by holding finger on groves area on handle
  • Close/ open mirrors + windows + sunroof through Key Fob - hold down open or close key
  • + reduced folding delay to 0 second
  • Doors unlock when engine off = single pull
  • Electronics off when the engine is shut off and driver's door opened
  • Removed front windows roll-up interruption when door is opened
  • Brake force flashing display for the rear tail lights + 3rd top brake light (only under hard deceleration and blinking stops when the cars stops)
  • Taillights on with DRL
  • Tilt Passenger Mirror further down when R is engaged
  • Automatic Highbeams Assistant ON by default (at night time when the light switch is on A = Auto or when lights are switched on manually)
  • PSI/ Temp readings under Menu > Vehicle Info > Vehicle Status > TPMS
  • Removed start up iDrive + rear CAM legal disclaimers
  • DVD in motion
  • USB port Movie Files playback (mp4 avi ogg vcd an xvid) + playback in motion
  • Transfer paired-cellphone ringtone to speakers instead of generic BMW ringtone
  • Changed M animation screen display time out period
  • A/C remembers last setting
  • Air recirculate (it was already ON)
  • Removed rear windows roll-up interruption
  • HUD turn signals
  • Lane Departure in HUD:
  • Rear cam on up to 80mph/ 150 meters - now it can be turn on while in motion but it will turn off after about 15-20 seconds - simply turn if back on as required.
  • Remember heated seats setting
  • Ventilation cushions and back front seats, 3rd position selected to 65 degrees
  • Side cam on up to 80mph

I opted to keep that, since I have the German flag color scheme on my car.

Were you able to code the music list and phone details into the HUD? I have a 340i M-Sport and had this feature which I love and I wanted to see if it is able to be coded into the M6.

I have been looking for M animation screen display time out period but have been unable to find it. Do you have any further information on that option?

Yes...that list appears to be things codeable on the "easy" side of the Bimmercode app.

quote "Changed M animation screen display time out period":
Has anyone figured out how to adjust the duration of the display and what drives when it appears and when not?. Bimmercode highlights that there are different conditions that drive that behavior.
