Do you have any front quarter shots or down the side? It's hard to see the wheel position relative to the wheel arch / fender in that photo.

Thanks!

I have -20mm lowered eibach springs on my M6GC and want to judge which spacer width to go for.

I have a vibration issue above 100mph, we are going through raft of things in eliminating factors. still no luck, need to try without spacers.

Anyone know of other BMW model spacers will work? I have ones for the previous model 5 series but checking online, the current 6 series don't come up as a match.

Surely all 120pcd spacers are the same??

No, BMW use different hub spigot diameters on different models. You have to get spacers to fit a 72.6mm hub. Any smaller it won't fit and any larger it won't centre.

E9x 3 series are 72.6mm, amongst others, my spacers are from my old 335i.

You'll need extended bolts and the M5/6 uses M14x1.25 thread, most other BMW are M12x1.5 so won't fit. The new bolts and locking bolts cost me more than the spacers!

Here are some pictures. Hopefully they are what you need. I think it looks aggressive but not overdone.

Thanks guys, appreciate the photos, both great looking cars!

I think the 15mm is a little too aggressive for me, but the 10mm looks just right and I have a GC also with the same wheels.

The eibach springs are on the UK/Europe website but not on the US one...strange.

http://www.eibachshop.co.uk/eibach-p...m#.V85q3JgrJi8

But If I had my time again I would have bought the AC schnitzer springs, better ride.

Could someone confirm what type of wheel nut is used for the M6?

Specifically the seating type?

Nope, still on stock suspension. The vorsteiner CF aero kit gives it a lowered appearance.

Just wanted to warn those thinking to do this. Make sure you get some quality spacers. I purchased a set of aluminum ones off eBay and narrowly avoided a disaster. Put them on myself and torqued. Did this in my carpark and left it overnight, next day I wanted to double check and all nuts were lose. I tighter then up and moved slightly and again they were loose. Did this a few times and decided not to take the car out. Just took the wheels off and the hub rings were snapped off!

I'm staying away from this spacer thing despite having done the same on my last 5 rides. I must be getting old and not a risk taker anymore....

You will need longer bolts for sure. Standard bolts won't even reach the hub through a 10mm spacer.

Extend bolts by same thickness as spacer if possible.

Standard m6 is 28mm, so 40mm is good for 10- 12mm spacers.

But 20 black bolts costs almost the same as the spacers.... most bolts are silver which looks terrible on a bmw.
