KW sleeve-over kit is finally here!
M3 Sleeve Kit Shown After over a year of anticipation, a handful of rumors both confirming and denying KW’s plans, and speculation from vendors across the US, KW Automotive GmbH has conclusively confirmed the existence of their Height Adjustable Spring (HAS) kit. KW’s HAS kits have enjoyed enormous popularity on BMW’s smaller M cars, and are sure to make M6 owners even happier. The KW HAS kits are uniquely designed to slip a height adjuster over the original BMW damper, allowing you to retain full EDC functionality and in-cabin adjustability, while also allowing for height adjustment using KW’s famous threaded body adjusters. KW engineers use their talents to perfectly match the new KW springs to the original BMW dampers, carefully selecting spring rate, coil count, coil size, compressed height and free height to get a perfect ride quality and handling feel. We're so excited to see this kit on the market, it should really be a great product!

BMW's warranty varies a bit from service adviser to service adviser. While some advisers will give you no trouble at all, others will pay extra attention to a car with modified suspension.
At most, BMW can void the warranty on the dampers themselves- no other systems should be affected.

Dealers can not void your warranty for aftermarket products unless it is the root cause of a component failure. Here is a good write up I found

What is the difference between this and coilovers? These are like H&R springs but with adjustable ride height?
Would love to try this when we get our 650GC soon. Esp since these are much cheaper than the KW v3.

Yes but there is some confusion on KW's website as they show the F10 M5 kit working for the M6 Gran Coupe. This is not accurate based on my discussion with their technical advisor. correct part number is Kit #2532000W which is designed for the M6 Coupe, Convertible, and Gran Coupe.
I will be trying them out shortly keep everyone posted. |

You can go higher than 1.1 on the rear...Mine is nearly adjusted like H&Rs because it's one of my daily drives. I've lowered the rear a tad more than H&R drop to get a better weight shift for traction.
pics will follow tomorrow. |
