BMW offers only 18 winter wheels for 640xd?

I recently bought 2015 BMW 640xd Gran coupe with 20 inch wheels.
The time has come and I have to order winter wheels, but the BMW dealer only offered me 17 and 18 wheels with winter tyres and told me, that BMW doesn't sell bigger wheels for the winter. Why is that? Are there any problems, so I couldn't put 19s on my BMW?

Most people put winter tires on for two reasons. First is obviously to get more traction. Two, to run a smaller wheel to allow more cushion for the unavoidable potholes. Having smaller wheel is a very good idea for this reason. I went with tire rack for my e60. The wheels looked pretty good and the tires were great, but I always longed for the day I could get my summers back. I would say give tire rack a try.
