F13 6 Series - why the big gap in adaptive cruise control?
I’m on the lookout (UK) for a used 6 Series, and moving from a Merc C350e which had adaptive cruise control. I used it daily and really wanted the same feature on the F13, but it appears that none of the 40 or so cars on the market in the UK have that feature. Plenty have cruise with break function. Plenty (SE trim only) have the + / - on the left of the steering wheel - for adding / reducing mph - but none can I find ACC. https://19216801.onl/ https://routerlogin.uno/
I read some articles about the M Sport trim not being able to accommodate the front mount radar, and the + / - on the SE is actually for ACC to increase or reduce the gap between you and the car in front - but haven’t found one yet! Lastly I read on a BMW press release that the E63 would have ACC available as an option. Surely many F13s would have had this fitted? Help! Last edited by walter4; 08-18-2023 at 11:27 AM.. |

Apparently the f13s that had ACC...the owners have decided to hold on to them.
It appears that you could have ACC with or without the M-sport pkg...there's a different bracket (#3) that is used for each type of front bumper.
