Upgraded Interior Lighting in my M6 Gran Coupe
I just did this upgrade on our 2013 Cayenne Turbo and was thrilled so I got the OEM lighting kit for my M6 Gran coupe as well. Install was super-easy - what a huge difference. Really compliments the interior very much. All doors have LED now, as well as overhead and footwell areas. So happy I did this modification. Highly recommended.

Nice. I put amber led's in my footwells to match the rest of the lighting and it looks amazing. OEM like. Should have come like that.

I gave it another go, I can get the front and rear unclipped but there is something still holding the centre part very firmly. I'm sure it will break it If I pull any harder!

Also don't forget the glove box and the light in the trunk that is fixed to the body (the light in the part of the trunk that raises is a different bulb). Not sure if you got that one - I missed it at first. Not sure which model you have (I have the M6 GC) but the rear overhead lights are easy...really all are easy (foot lights, doors, glove box and one of the trunk lights)...only hard lights are front center overhead console.... |

Yes I spotted the glove box light and changed that over, I need to check in the trunk (boot in the UK). I noticed the one in the lid was a different type.
Thanks for all your help. |

I managed to get to the bulbs but not in the way I expected! I unclipped the front and rear of the panel, but as I was gently trying to unclip the sides the surround covers of the spotlights came off. This allowed me to remove those two bulbs. The clear plastic lens from the main light unclipped which allowed me to change that bulb over.

yep crazy that they aren't LED as standard. The only one I have left to convert is the one in the boot/trunk lid.
great upgrade, it looks so much better with the LEDs. |
