Car seat

Wondering if anyone has any experience with a car seat in the back of the new 6. I assume for rear-facing, the passenger seat is pretty much unusable.

Cybex Aton fits rear facing if you don't use the base and strap it in with the seatbelt- pretty stable because of the deep buckets. You get a little tightness up front, but bearable.

I made a vacuum-formed base that straddled the hump between the rear seats that the Cybex, with base, sat on and used the LATCH fittings. Rear facing again, but the top of the seat fits perfectly between the front seats, andit worked prety well. A little tough getting the kid in and out, but doable.

We have a Britax Marathon that I think might work front facing, but haven't tried it yet.
