Alpina all the way ;-).
Alpina were with Hartge the precursors of the M division making race models of series BMW's (most famously the 3.0 CSL), and high tune versions of these series models too... I wish they were able to make Alpina the "old way" with total freedom VS M. In the old times (the 80's and 90's) Alpinas were the top of the food chain for BMW's, even crazier than the M division. Anyone who love Alpinas will fondly remember the E30 M3 based B6S with a 3.5 liter inline 6 and 254 hp or the E31 850 CSi based B12 with output increased to 416 hp.

B12 5.7 for me But for the current cars, I want a manual or a DCT, not an automatic. If Alpina based the B6 on the M6 that would be amazing! |
