Top down view camera

I understand that the top down camera view is only available when you select reverse.. (I don't get the option normally).
Is it possible to recode so that you can get this view without having to select reverse does anyone know?

Thanks

Just press the button near the gear shift mode selector, that activates PDC and whatever camera settings to have selected.

It doesn't Richard.. it only gives you side view.. you have to be in reverse to get the top down view

There are two buttons, one activates PDC and gives you whatever view you have selected when in reverse, the other gives the front exit side view.

Maybe it depends on how you have set it up, but that's the way it works on mine!

Managed to get 27mpg this morning wasnt feeling well so was driving to the speed limits.. oops.. under the speed limits.

Man this thing eats the road, I remember the E60 M5 being bad for suddenly realising you were doing twice or three times what you thought, but this is on another planet

If you get your car coded, you can activate any of these camera's and watch the road go by from the top, sides and rear at pretty high speeds. It's pretty cool actually, especially for those that feel like tailing you. LOL!

Was this from cold?, I ask as if you reset the MPG hot it reads high MPG.
I always set from stone cold, that gives very accurate MPG.

30 is not hard on a reasonable length motorway journey.

I still think 7th gear is higher than an m5, not by much but higher.
