Anyone order a Mineral White 6 Gran Coupe?
I absolutely love my current F07 / 5 GT but after 3 wonderful years, am planning to trade it in for a Mineral White 6er Gran Coupe in Q1 2013.
Has anyone seen any good pictures of the 6GC in Mineral White? These pictures from Sybaesian convinced me that Mineral White works very well on the 6er: http://goo.gl/TIdUA [though this is a vert] I retired my 2012 F12 in Alpine White / 640d convertible about 4 months into ownership as i got bored - replaced it with something that ticked all the boxes in a way that the BMW simply couldn't. But now that i will be looking for a practical, 4 door car with power, performance, reliability and coupe-styling; the 6GC may just fit the bill. Wont go AW though as Mineral White is way classier. |

If youre planning to head over to the Olympic park there's a Mineral White one on display in (well the car showroom is actually ontop of the building) the BMW Experience building. I saw it during the Olympics, but assume its still there for the Para Olympics and probably a bit afterwards. Alternatively, it will probably be doing the rounds of the UK after its done it's duty in the Olympic park (email BMW and I'm sure they can tell you when it will be local to you).
I'm not a big fan of white cars, but mineral white looked amazing on the GC in the sunshine and had me converted. Only thing I didn't like was the big black slab of the sunroof, although my GF seemed to like the contrast. The colour transitions between white and slightly off white, with sparkles showing up randomly as you move around it. I think it would probably hold up better in our generally dull weather then a pure white. Especially if you're not fastidious in cleaning your cars. Last edited by Mentos; 09-03-2012 at 09:16 AM.. The mineral white reminds me of the pearl whites from Audi and Toyota.... I also have it on my Toyota Alphard (a luxe mini-van in Asia). Looks great initially. However, like all shades of white, gets a bit yellowish as time goes by.....
Ah well.... I went to the darker side this time on my order.

I have seen MW in person and it's stunning but since you used to have a blue bimmer then why not check Deep Sea Blue as it's one of my favorite none individual colors.

I wanted that color, but it wasn't available with the M package when I purchased. Such a stunning color.
