Hmm using racist and derogatory terms to describe a vehicle..smh. In the JDM world Rocket Bunny, MUGEN, SPOON, are all top brand aftermarket parts... "riced", no, a bit excessive with the wing.. yea IMO. I've seen M3's with widebody kits that are riveted with wings like the one above.. No one seems to call them "riced", I'm guessing since people think its a BMW its somehow "better"...

Yes, very... in the context of how it is used to suggest or describe a vehicle of having Asian influence. It, for example is the same as if the phrase "wet back" or "spic" was used to describe a Toyota corolla with flame stickers, outrageous wing, and a CD hanging from the mirror.

Some may or may not take offense to that, I just expect people who boast about driving these "high class" precision driving machines, to carry themselves with more class... I guess I expect too much.

Well, not to pile on, but you've drawn a false parallel. Those words are horrible, while rice is not. Also, "riced" refers to the vehicle, not the driver. It'd be more like saying a car is tortilla'd or nacho'd. Like this one. I know your objective was factual accuracy, so you are welcome!

No, I'm not, however I am a fan of Tuner Cars whether JDM, EDM, or USM. I'm a fan of modified cars, and have traveled/showed cars in the NCCA: HIN, Speed Lounge, Tuner Expo.. ect. I'm just not a fan of using derogatory racially driven words to describe a persons creation. If a modded car is a POS, it's a POS, if it has tasteless mods it's just tacky. I don't know about you, but I've never been to a car show that had the category ricer, rice, hill billy, ghetto, or hood as an option to win.

I talked to some people whose opinions I really value and they said this is similar to using "retarded" or "gay" as pejoratives. It is the association of it with being bad that makes it racist. I can understand that logic. I was more on your side of the argument before, but if you see it from the perspective of the "target" audience, it makes more sense. I don't think the implication is that the user is racist. The implication is that the user should have a reasonable knowledge that the term is offensive and, if they choose to use it anyway, they are kind of being an asshole.

here is my jalopy toy.. you are welcome to call it rice, mexi, whatever you desire.. i call it all kinds of names :-) it truly is an old piece of shit that i've had for ages.. but it makes me happy to wrench on it as a hobby. Did i have to put a rocket bunny on it? No, but it was easiest shit to bolt on to fit 295's to get more grip with 650WHP soon to be 700+ Its also fun to get into something completely uncontrollable in comparison to the M5.

What is under the car cover?

Is that a splitter leaning against the wall?

Paddle boards?

OH MY GOD! SO MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THAT GARAGE!

Nope. I dislike the whole wide body kit trend. But the mods should only matter to the owner, however I think it ruins the luxurious look of a LUXURY car.

For example:

It just gives off a 'cheap' look. Not a fan at all. BMW or not.
