Can't stand it. One of my girl friends would always do this - she was in the habit of calling her friends 'bub' 'champ' etc. i was like wtf no guy is gonna like that. Shes also British so thought it could be a language barrier thing (they speak weird) but just couldnt stand it. I told her to stop cuz she sounds like my 7th grade soccer coach, and she did stop lol
