pumping gas issue....stops intermittently.

Hey all,

I've got a 2013 650 conv. Every time I go to pump gas, it'll pump a few gallons and then stop. I need to reset the handle, pull it and set it again, and then it'll pump a few more gallons and then stop again. Super annoying!

Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions??

Yup. Common issue. Push on handle toward the rear when pumping gas, works for me. Some pumps are worse than others so find one that plays nice.

If you are in a state that allows you to set the handle and walk away, don't. Just hold it and squeeze.

Thank you! Yeah I usually just set the handle and walk away, check my phone. This is the first time I've ever experienced this problem. Never experienced it with any of my other cars, or my previous BMW's.

Anything else I can do to resolve this so I can set it to pump and walk away??

not that I am aware of. but i mis-typed - push pump handle towards the front! lesson learned - don't post while smoking cigars and drinking tequila!

Well at least I know that it is not just here in the UK that we have this problem.

I never used to have this problem on the F30, but the F06 clicks like a mofo when filling up.
