What are these spare holes for in the engine bay? F06 2016 GC

They are not spare holes mate.

On mine (late 2016 F06) they have screws in them.

If your car is under warranty get it into the dealers.
If it you got it used get it properly checked to make sure it is not damage repaired.

Its a brand new car, looked at another new F06, its the same! My god is BMW cost saving here?

Interestingly my March 2015 build has nothing in either of these as well (passenger side and driver side have the holes but nothing in them)

Also looking around on google no cars have anything in these holes...F30 Andy do you have any brackets or anything connected to them?
