Wet rear footwell

Evening all.

My business partner has a 2012 640d and the passenger side rear footwell is soaking, there are no obvious clues as to why, can you guys help at all?

Makes more sense. The E85 Z4 had a similar issue due to the roof drains getting clogged and the water making its way in. I have no idea if the 6 has similar issues, but I'd check for other 6 convertible damp threads for likely causes.

It’s the yellow gromit in the bulk head, had to do mine a few weeks ago. Must of removed 20 liters of water. Common fault

Mine also had this fault. Had the yellow grommet replaced and sealant used as this is not an OEM watertight seal. The drain cover also had an extra hole drilled to prevent future drainage issues. 2 days with a dehumidifier going and now all sorted.
