REAR DEFROST... need help from fellow 6 owners
Winter is here, and I'm wondering about my rear defrost function. I get good defrosting across the bottom 8 inches of the back window, and none above that. With the defrost on, the drivers side lower corner of the back window is quite warm to the touch, and the passengers side lower corner is warmed much less, but not cold. The top half of the back window is very cold to the touch, and snow that lands there just stays there... There appear to be "defroster lines" across the entire back window, so I'm wondering if my 6 has an issue. Some of the lines may be an antenna, but it just seems like something isn't right.
Anyone that has had a similar experience or who would care to fire up their defroster and feel their back window to help me out would be greatly appreciated! Thanks |

Mine works as ninja's does. Bottom inch is slow to melt as well. Seems to heat up fine. The OP needs to visit his dealer.

Last time i went in for a service they did a software update to make the rear defrost more effective. Did not notice any difference but it seems to defrost quick enough.
Hope this helps. |
