Pirelli

Does anyone have experience with Pirelli? I need to replace my rears soon. I want plain ones, not runcraps.

I am considering PZero, and PZero Nero. Any comments? How do these compare with Michelin Pilot SS for example?

Any thoughts appreciated.

R.

I'd have thought the Michelin PSS would run rings around the Pirelli. I've not used the latest Pirellis, but the PSS are the best all round tyre I've ever had. The PSS is original fitment to the M5 and M6.

The Pirelli Pzeroes are stunningly good all-weather high performance tires.
Highly recommended.

My 6GC was delivered on Dunlop SportMaxx GT tyres which are poor in wet weather like we have in UK - aqua planing high.

I changed from the beginning my runflat tires for Pirelli P zero's! They are very good all weather tires but I was not totally satisfied with the traction. Saw a M6 with Michelin Pilot SS tires and than changed my car to the same tires. The Pilot SS's are miles better in traction and cornering than the Pirelli's. No question. Put them on and feel the difference but I would strongly recommend that if you change in brand than change all 4 tires at once. The car is going to react very strange if you have runflats at the front wheels and Michelin Pilot SS at the rear wheels!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck with making a choice.
