Cool Production 2012 6-series Convertible (F13) Spied!

Featured on HOMEPAGE.

This 6-series convertible image has been posted without much fanfare on Autobild. It appears to be a leak of the upcoming production 2012 6-series convertible (now confirmed) as we don't recall seeing a similar image upon which the render could be based, except for the "original" photo upon which it is based (also posted below). This car appears to be an 650i cabrio (with style 356 wheels), which will begin production in March 2011. The F13 6-series will come with a traditional cloth roof.

Additional info per Scott26:
Quote:
It was recent photography for the 6er Accessories catalog that will be available by Spring. Hence why the optional large diameter alloys.

Photography for the new 6er has already been completed.
Here is the BMW announced production schedule for the F12 / F13 6-series coupe and convertible.

MY 2012:

March 2011 - 650cv
July 2011 - 650cp
September 2011 - 640cp/cv
September 2011 - 650xi cp/cv

It's photoshopped, but it seems to be based on a real photo of production 6 series convertible. They cut out some distracting details from the original photo.

Autobild published the original photo in their print magazine. I just found it on a German forum: http://www.motor-talk.de/bilder/pros...203585098.html

It´s not ncessarily an photoshop ... the pics were take by photoworks for the catalog ... one pic was probably an spy-pic from an great distance and the other could be an real catalog-pic! Look at the shadows behind the car!

May be the almost aerial vantage point that makes it appear that way?

Still looks pretty low, +1.
