The engine light is on only 100 miles

Wow! The engine light is already on in my 15' M6 GC. It only has about 100 miles on it so far. I have not pushed it passed 90 mph. The only thing I did was I rev'd the engine in my driveway two times just to hear it. The BMW genius made me do it before I left the lot too. Could the rev'ing have done it?

It only happens when i turn just the electronics on. Not the engine. Not sure what that means

As far as I know it is normal, most cars show check engine light with electronics on. If you turn the car on and there is light then something is wrong
