Thoughts on what i paid with a new indy shop im trying

Hi, i usually use the dealership for repairs because i am not a DIYer, but i couldnt get it in for over a week so i tried a indy shop near me. They seemed to do good work and resolved the issue, but im not sure if the price was fair. Any opinions on the costs below? Thanks

Not sure what year your car is, but the vent lines are under an extended 10 year warranty from your in-service date, so possibly you could have got them for free if yours were the old style that crack from heat. Having said that, $312 is a lot for labor to do those lines. I've done it, and could do it again in an hour or so. I got the new hoses online (genuine BMW) for $300 something - maybe like $360. Looks like you paid about $550.

Thank you and that doesnt seem too bad. I did try to get reimbursed by BMW and they told me where to go...
I would prefer to stop using the dealer because they are about a 30 minutes drive for me where this Indy is around the corner, and the dealership couldnt even diagnose it for over a week.
Thanks for the response.
