Stolen Recovered - missing Switch Centre advice

Hi, thank you for allowing me to join this wonderful community and resource.

Just wondering if anyone knows what the green and brown connections are for in picture 1? I can't see the wiring being cut and maybe my car just didn't come with them options.

Picture 2 is of the main switch control - bmw confirmed it doesn't contain any tracking but thieves always think it does hence they remove the main and rear modules. I've got the part number for this 61319276230 but seems as people have listed different versions of the same part number. I don't have a sunroof. Also it's mainly available with a beige trim but I reckon mine will have been grey to match the roof liner. Would this need coding in if I purchase second hand?

Thank you
