M performance steering wheel installed 😁

Just finished installing a "new to me" m performance steering wheel with alcantara and red leather accent top piece.

I got it from a fellow member on here and so far very happy. Wonder how it will hold up long term verses the leather. Any recommendations on how to clean the alcantara?

Also, looking for another carbon fiber piece I can add in the cabin so the new steering wheel accent doesn't look out of place. Any recommendations (thinking the auto shifter) but want to try and watch the weave

Or should I just put the silver piece back on it?

I would do AutoTecknic CF Paddle Shifter with Red Accent and CF Shifter cover.

That looks really nice! I think another forum member on here wrapped his center console in carbon! Maybe you can look into that

Found out the center piece is OEM, anyone know if bmw has an OEM auto shifter that will match the weave and gloss? Hard to tell from the ebay ones

There is an LCI carbon trim you could get instead of the aluminium - no idea if it's the same weave pattern though.

Other than the screen, did you need any other trim posts to upgrade the centre screen?
