Just be happy with what you have and stop posing. This is a wonderful car as is. No need to make it seem otherwise.
Could've committed murder if it was the 650i.

Some people are willing to spend money on M6 parts just to slap it on their 6 series and fool a few clueless people. I love pulling up next to them and just giving them a thumbs up with a sarcastic smile. I can tell by their reactions it makes them feel as shallow as a puddle.
Don't be shocked if one of those guys with the "body" on it smokes an M6. I've seen 550xi do it and both cars were modded.
A full bolt on 550xi or 650xi can't keep up with an equally modded M6. It will make it look like it's in reverse. Just Jb4 and Exhaust my m6 was putting down 592whp and 581wtq on pump gas. Aventadors couldn't hang on rolling starts when I was on race gas. When you say both modded you must mean the M6 had JB4 and lowering springs and the 550xi was running FBO, meth, and upgraded turbos. Let's also not forget about every other mechanical part that's superior in the M (transmission, suspension, chassis, etc.)

Unless it's raining out...my heavily modded 335xi is a beast in the rain, my non modded m6 scares me in the rain!

Well be careful with your comment buddy... Noway a 4450 lb AWD car (550xi) even with 600 HP can keep up with M6 except it's light to light race which is ridicules. I remember the day a GTR guy asked me to race in rolling haha... it was really fun race when I saw him in mirror at 100 mph

Look at my simple calculation:
Based on Dinan report, the non CP M6 engine is generating 618 HP. Since M6 is RWD with 12% drivetrain loss, 543 HP is transferring to the wheels so with 4250 lb weight, 7.8 lb/hp is the actual power/weight ratio of M6.
In case of 4450 lb 550xi respect to 15% drivetrain loss of AWD car, you need to have at least 670 HP at crank or something about 220 HP over the power of N63tu engine since Dinan has measured 446 HP for this engine... so if somebody has that much tuning, then yes he can beat M6 and I won't be shocked

What I don't understand is that the current 6 series is one of the most beautiful BMW ever made and there is no reason someone wants to put fake badge on it... it's funny that if this guy really loves M cars, he can buy an M3 or M4 cheaper than his 640. A well equipped M3/M4 (at price point of 70-75K) is still less expensive than a basic 640i...

As long as you acknowledge that you won't be shocked if it happens. It's the race world, anything is possible with tuning.

You wouldn't know what's under someone's hood, sounds to me you're speaking about equal tuning, most of the time .... the tuning is nowhere near equal. So, my statement stands, you'll be surprised to see a 550xi/650xi smoke a M5/M6. Stock, it's impossible. With tuning, anything's possible!

It's no question about it that stock the M6 to the 550xi/650xi is murder! Just because someone puts the body on doesn't mean they should be ashamed. Unless they start putting the badge everywhere, then that's a whole different story!

I'm happy with my 650xi GC. When they debut the AWD M6 GC in 2018, I'll be a happy M6 owner!

My point is that 9/10 the M will come out on top. It takes much more to tune a 550 or 650 to the point where it can edge out its M counterpart than what it takes to make an M be unbeatable by its non-M counterpart. In other words, in the tuning world there's a thing called a ceiling. The ceiling with a 550/650i is much much lower. Anyways, speed is besides the point. My point is that a 650i is not up to par with its M counterpart in more ways than one, beyond a badge, and beyond speed.

Ok so since we are talking about tuned cars, let me leave these videos here to see what a monster tuned M6 is... It's not by chance. It's because of basic physic... aggressive gear/axle ratio (to maximize the transferred torque to wheels), amazing DCT (to support the fast shifting and torque vectoring), Active M Differential (to let maximum power and torque be transferred while the maximum traction be applied at high speed ), the RWD and master piece of engineering S63tu engine with incredible torque/power curve...
well I believe you admit tuned 550xi is not even close to tuned E63 or CLS63 (700 hp) or Ferrari FF or even Gallardo...
Believe me buddy M6 is a fast car and this comment is coming from a guy who used to have 2012 F13 650i (N63) and 2013 F13 650i (N63tu)

Even stock heavy M6 GC can beat stock big monsters (GTR or E63 both AWD) and I'm sure you admit these stock cars are already much faster than tuned 550/650 unless like I said 550/650 has over 200 HP tune...

To be honest with you I'm not in favor of AWD M car at all and hope the next generation gives us option of both RWD and AWD but I understand there are people in some places (like East coast or Canada or north Europe) need AWD

I'd be happy with our regularly discussed M6 with a transaxle and around 55% of weight over the rear as an option, or even if the motor is mounted far enough backwards to throw the i8 front axle on to give a bit of extra grip when getting going.

That's exactly what MB did with AMG GTS... 47/53 transaxle
I test drove the AMG GTS and it was fantastic balanced car... too bad DCT and steering are not as good as M6... IMO
