Help !!! Kidney Grill 650i F12 Night vision
I purchased my 650i one week ago.
Yesterday I went to my dealer and asked if I can buy black kidney grills for my 650i F12 with Night Vision. They said No because. Performance black kidney grills are only for non Night Vision. I asked if they can paint it they said no because if they will paint it the paint will start peeling of if a stone hit it. The is one more option if I will buy M6 kidneys. The problem is can I take of the ///M6 emblem. I don't won't to badge a 650i to a M6. What can I do ?? Can I take of the the M6 badge ?? |

JOHNNYCHIRO on BimmerFest got his grilles painted black and he reported no issues. I've seen another thread about someone painting them. If you scuff them up right, prime and do a good job, I don't see a problem painting them.
Also, If you care for the matte black grille look, plasti-dip is an option. I plasti-dipped my grille but I peeled it off because I prefer the gloss black look. Was fine for the few weeks I had it on. I also have a 650i with Night Vision. |
